David J. Steyaert, Sr. is a Petroleum Geologist with 35 years of professional industry experience generating oil and gas prospects, performing acreage assessments, reserve evaluations, and helping clients make investment decisions on drilling and completion operations. As the owner and founder of Impact Energy Resources, LLC, a small oil and gas prospect generation firm located in the Denver metropolitan area since 1997, David has extensive unconventional resource play experience (approximately 27 years) analyzing tight oil plays in the Williston Basin for Bakken, Threeforks and Mississippian carbonate reservoirs; the Uinta and Piceance Creek Basins for Green River-Wasatch, and Mancos sandstone and carbonate reservoirs; the Sand Wash, Green River, Denver- Julesburg, Powder River, and Park Basins for Fractured Niobrara and Mancos shales, and upper Cretaceous Sandstones, siltstones, and carbonates; analyzing Tight Gas-Sands throughout Rocky Mountain Region; and select Coal Bed Methane reservoirs in San Juan, Uinta, Sand Wash and Wind River Basins of the Rockies and eastern Kansas and Oklahoma of the Midcontinent.

David has international exploration-production and operations exposure in west and north- Africa. He has operations experience offshore west-Africa, Southern California, Rockies and Midcontinent. With a M.S. Degree Geology from University Missouri-Columbia, Columbia, Mo. And a B.S. Degree Geology from University Missouri-Kansas City, Kansas City, Mo. He has an excellent education background. His professional affiliations include AAPG, RMAG, Wyoming Professional Geologist.
